The Idaho Commission for Libraries has chosen My Darlin' Clementine to be the Idaho book featured at the annual National Book Festival. The event, sponsored by the Library of Congress, will be held in Washington D.C. September 25.
Author Appearances and Book SigningsI make occasional appearances at schools and conferences. You may contact me directly through this website email address. I now use a Powerpoint presentation to illustrate my talks. I particularly enjoy discussing the craft of writing and my love of reading, and why are both are so important for children. A Note to Teachers: As a result of class projects, many readers write me letters. I try to
answer each one personally and would like to offer some tips to make the
process easier for all of us. Thanks for reading this. I look forward to hearing from you at kgregorybooks@yahoo.com.

My Newest Projects And the war continues. Right now I am extensively researching some aspects of The Revolutionary War. Yes, Scholastic wants to do a sequel to my best seller, The Winter of Red Snow, which I wrote in 1996.Ah, so long ago it seems. It is like greeting an old friend, Abigail Stewart! I hope you will watch for the publication of this book. When I have a date, I will announce it here. I also finished Book Six of the Cabin Creek Series. The series is based on stories I told my sons when they were little and wouldn't go to bed, about two brothers, Jeff, age 12, David, 10, and their smart cousin, Claire, 9. These good-hearted kids rely on their friendship, curiosity and resourcefulness to solve the trouble and intrigues they encounter. Unfortunately, I have learned the books are hard to find in the bookstores. However, all of the six books in the series are available in audio at www.oasisaudio.com ----- Attention GIRLS who like to read!! Book Club, Wednesdays, 3-5pm Bronte Bella's house -- 308 View Crest Drive Refreshments will be served Dogs Welcome Bronte's Book Club (Holiday House) was a hardcover book, published Spring, 2008. Bronte's parents move to a small town by the sea and she says good-bye to all her closest friends and is left with the challenge of how do you meet new ones? Her solution is quite creative but not without setbacks. The answer is in the title. This was a fun book to write and also includes one of my favorites recipes and tips on how to start your own book club.
